People's pronunciation of Takeshi kovac is drvig me nuts since I audiobooked it and Takeshi makes a mental note of a few characters early in the story who pronounce his name correctly (assuming the audiobook narrator pronounces it cotrectly in the first place)

I'm a fan of the Blade Runner movies, yes I loved the new one. Netflix has two upcoming releases in February that have a very Blade Runner vibe.

The first is a Netflix original movie called Mute from Duncan Jones. It stars Alexander Skarsgård, Seyneb Saleh, Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux.

The second is a Netflix series called Altered Carbon based on the novel of the same name by Richard K. Morgan. It stars Joel Kinnaman, Renée Elise Goldsberry and James Purefoy.
Both of these look awesome, thanks for posting.

Ep 02: Good
Ep 03: Good
Ep 04: Great

reading some reviews on the side, and they are not nearly as positive as my own. i think that stems from the fact that it is so dense

i liked the first time through the audiobook. and i REALLY enjoyed it the second time. so having that background might be a factor in how much im enjoying this adaptation =))))

my "goods" ftr are verrry solid goods. im only using the term "good" instead of great because the above pic is a 4 points scale. these episodes are solid 8s and 9s on a 10 point scale

okay, on to episode 5!

Ep 05: another good great and then
Ep 06: AWESOME

primarily because of some key book VS show changes, which is keeping me on my toes. my god! the way Ep 6 ends is unreal.

Onetrickpony @Onetrickpony im sorry to keep tagging you, but i hope you love this as much as i do. im new to the books, so i cant relate to the real book fans like yourself who read this without knowing it would be adapted into a show. but man, this adaptation is fun. im VERY curious to hear your take on it once you watch the season!

Ep 07: HOMERUN - they did what another netflix show tried to do last year. but the other show flopped on that episode, and Altered Carbon smashed it on this one. one word ... wow
Ep 08: fucken A!!! this episode, or rather, this show ... is pure art!!!
Ep 09: another great episode!! (pay attention to the first couple seconds of this episodes. dont woryr, that doesnt spoiler anything. you dont need even need to catch it, but if you make a mental note of it, you'll realize its beautiful art once you learn other shit later in the episode)
Ep 10: stellar ending

there are various forms of A+. but as a whole. i give this shit an A+. that was a blast!

Okay the sex scene in Altered episode 2 needed to go on for a lot longer than it did, ffs.

you see pretty much every hot girl naked in this at some point. wait until you see ortegas body :)))
I felt a fuckton better about my size ahaha.

This actor is the only way I managed to get through 2 seasons of The Killing, and I had to give up because I can't stand that actress. Michelle Forbes annoys the crap out of me too so that pissed me off too.

I promise I'm not a female hater but put the two of them in, all I needed was Laura Dearne and I'd've done been a Saints fan after the Vikings result throwing the TV out of the window.
