I refuse to collect Downtowns. If I pull one from a pack so be it but I’m not buying or trading for any.
Card shop owner tried trading me a josh Allen downtown for my 3/3 Aaron Judge patch auto saying they were both worth about $750. I’m a huge Josh Allen fan but fuck that.

2022 and earlier downtowns are great... but of course Panini ruined it this year by upping production and lowering effort on the art.

I think I saw somewhere that like 10 times more 2024 Downtowns have already been graded than 2023

Is it worth having cards from the late 80s/early 90s rookies graded? Like McGuire, Canseco, Bonds, Larkin, Griffey, Bo Jackson, Jeter, etc

And some of those would have value as a 10... but 9 or less and junk wax era isnt worth too much

Some of those rookies from the junk wax era can be worth grading and have value as a 10. Not easy to get 10’s though. Make sure It’s perfect before giving it a shot. Griffey is real tough

Eventually I need to submit my Mark Jackson/Menendez cards... and the hoops Sam Vincent (with Jordan on it wearing #12)

Very unlikely to get 10s... but would be awesome if they did.

Bought a box of Topps Midnight yesterday. Total bust. Khris Middleton auto and a 2/5 Haliburton/Walker was supposed to be the big hits. $275 a box.

So what am I looking at here? Is that a website where you sell your own cards like COMC? Prices are high. I guess that’s for negotiation purposes. I have 2 Chet autos I’d take $200 each for if you want to resell them for double that on your site. 🤣

So Arena Club grades cards but also allows you to keep them there (as well as store any PSA/SGC/BGS slabs for free). That collection link just shows what I have there. They take 10% on sales so think of the true price as whatever is listed minus $14 (grading fee) and 10% (selling fee).

I have everything over priced as I'm not really looking to sell any of it at the moment unless someone wants to overpay. You can also propose trades on there.

Essentially its just a one stop shop for everything.
