General Fishing is serious bidness

Wasn't aware Dave Portnoy has been banging pizzeria waitresses beyond the dumpster for 22 years already.
The charter boat captain has been arrested 12 times since 2002 for several DUIs, felony battery, possessing a weapon on school grounds among other things. Could actually be charged with piracy for boarding the other boat without permission and is being investigated for stolen valor along with his %100 disability claim despite admitting to working full time 300+ days a year.
You'd think a sport like fishing about relaxing you wouldn't encounter shitbags like this. I'm surgical with a 6oz weight, sniper. Take your aggression out on a moosie, sniper. Attend Hut, sniper.
I've spent a lot of time at boat launches and on the water. Owned a boat for a decade.
Had one issue. Bad parking lot. It's common.
First guy parks all fucked up. I have to also park fucked up.
Come back to the launch and with sharpie someone wrote "wtf" on mine and the other guys windows. There were three new trucks. Two had sharpies visible in the center console which is crazy. Had it been just the one truck he'd have been changing a fucking tire.
Also thought what a ballsy move. I can't imagine how fucked that guy would have been had I caught him somehow.
Other than never an issue. People are generally patient and helpful here. Not uncommon to see a guy jump out and hole another guys boat so it's not slamming into the dock, etc.

The captain did serve in the army for 4 years with one deployment to Afghanistan. He claimed to be a Ranger to anyone that would listen. In reality he was a Human Resources Specialist. Unclear if his disability claim was related to his service but it’s being reviewed per the local news. His charter license is under review as well.

Totally fucked up of Mr. Best Charter Captain. I can't imagine being on his boat and witnessing that and not de-escalating that situation aggressively. Maybe the boat was too far away to get audio, but I didn't hear a single person on that boat say a word, or even move towards Mr. Best Charter Boat Captain to even whisper something into his ear. Fuck that guy.
