I'll always go back and watch his old fights
And I will always respect him standing up for himself in a time when very few would
Even before he started going downhill, I just started to get annoyed of excuses and then the gsp grease stuff threw me off the wagon
but GSP was greased lol...had that grease guy nurse or whatever...GSP did grind him bad that fight

Was the BJ fight close, or a beatdown?

I missed it, I assumed it'd be later on the card.

That stuff didn't bother me. What bothered me is his refusal to train hard, be disciplined, and leave Hilo to train. He also completely abandoned his ground game. He was so ahead of his time when he first burst onto the scene...a world class black belt w/ dynamite in his hands. But as the sport evolved, he refused to evolve with it. I think it now truly bothers him...the thought of what he could have done if he truly dedicated himself to the sport and broadened his horizons. So the past couple of years he's been to various camps, and even went back to the Marinovich's. Problem is, it's 10 years too late and now it's over. He's got to live with that and it's probably going to eat at him until the day he dies.

Just frustrating.
