Xplode Fight Series (XFS) is back in the news this week, after a video surfaced on Tuesday that showed a fat "soccer mom" getting destroyed by a trained fighter. While XFS operates under the guise of mixed martial arts (MMA), this is about one notch above (or below, depending on geography) an underground smoker.

Bloody Elbow provides some background on the organization:

Xplode Fight Series, a California-based pro-am organization that has seen several of its fighters signed by the UFC and Bellator... Their events are hosted almost exclusively on the San Pasqual Indian Reservation in Valley Center, and while they use California-licensed referees, they are not sanctioned by the California State Athletic Commission.

Unsanctioned fights on an Indian reservation ... what could possibly go wrong? The YouTube comments range from "You don't allow someone who isn't trained to enter the ring with a trained fighter," to "She hasn't taken a fisting that raw since college."

This event is the trash of MMA events. It takes place about 20 minutes from my house and I refuse to go. The promoter/matchmaker's name is Johnny something. He is ufc fighter Robbie Peralta's manager. He is the most shady matchmaker ive ever seen. Ted Williams of Gladiator Challenge made him the socal GC matchmaker about 5 years ago and the event became a complete joke. I stopped going to GC after an event had 27 fights and about 3 went past 2 minutes. He gives his fighters the biggest squash matches in mma history. They build up a record then get destroyed on the big show see Alexis Dufresne.

It's not about her knowing what she is getting into, it's about she should not have even been allowed to fight. I would know what I'm getting into fighting Anderson Silva I mean we are both the same weight but should I a regular practitioner of certain styles of fighting be allowed to fight a professional ass kicker like silva? That wasnt that bad. I imagine tons of grass roots show have sharks/guppies matches. I mean still.

One time i went to a show where. Coleman brought a few guys from HH to Minnesota Kohler put em in there with dudes with beer guts and little to zero training. Scott Shipman had his guy on the ground so easily and must have felt zero strength he was sort of...well displeased. He almost stopped fighting and looked at his corner with an expression on his face that could be described as, "why am I fighting this poor guy, or I came here for this? Coleman just started yelling finish him ship! I'm rambling
