I think Jones-DC are equal in many ways when it comes to fighting mentality but Jones always has the upper hand with his physique and youth.

DC's only getting older so Jones probably win every single time if they fought from here on out.

We should make a special sub-forum called "The Short Bus" for everyone who votes for DC.

I went with the upset pick. I do not think we are going to see a prime Jon Jones here, but I feel like we will see a Daniel Cormier who is a bit better than in the first fight.

But mostly I just don't think Jones spent his layoff staying fit and honing his game. I though he looked diminished against OSP (admittedly I was not sober while watching that one). It's been another full year since he was pulled from UFC 200. A full year of partying will take a toll on any man.

imo, dc will have to knock him out and that's not happening...........he's also not going to "grind him out" of this fight either and i believe he understands this also..............he also has trouble making the weight so this will most likely be very similar to the first fight or jones will submit him.

That's what I'm counting on. Jones isn't Jones, DC is still DC. He's fought once in 2.5 years and hasn't seemed to learn anything from life. Losing might be the best thing for him long-term.

DC could win on the cards. If this is a close fight, DC will retain.

Jones will get punched. A lot. He really needed a fight before this fight that doesn't date back to last spring. We'll see which Jones walks through that cage in a week.

I'll confess though, bit of a DC hugger. Not a Jones hater though. I've been on DC's nuts since he took Josh Barnett on the tilt-a-whirl.

The only lhw who matches up well with Jones isn't in the promotion. I like DC but this will be a cakewalk.

His last fight was what, 15 months ago? DC has been grinding that entire time. He was connecting on Jones even in the first fight in the stand-up. Jones could have used a warm-up fight like OSP was, which he looked like shit in.
That OSP fight was scored 50-44, 50-45, 50-45. Jon Jones is so good that when he shuts out a top 5 southpaw on short notice people say he "looked like shit".

Jones has taken no damage since he last fought, and by all accounts he's been training a ton.

Mentioning short notice should be a disadvantage for OSP, not the guy with the full training camp.

I'm not sure who will win this fight but I'm hoping DC does for selfish reasons.
