lol just got home from a festival gig and watched the event. The fight was whatever, I just can't get over Ken's entrance... What were those shoes Hawk was wearing? They couldn't have gotten him some boots for 5 minutes?

I didn't notice the shoes. The main reason I'd guess is like it or hate it it gets peoples attention. There have been positive and negative comments but can you tell me the last ufc walkout that was ever discussed at any length.

I'm liking most of what Bellator is doing but the special entrances for old school stuff that aren't something very unique and stylized above and beyond the ramp and the screen are not a favourite of mine.

They add fuel to the "Well Ken's here so... it really doesn't matter how bad or stupid the fight looks let's celebrate with some ??? content".

The walkouts are far down on my list of issues with MMA. Yes the Pride walkouts were interesting for Sudo and others. Them being pomp and circumstance is not something I personally need to enhance the sport I would much prefer a proper audio package for the event.

I despise boxing walkouts for big fights, the bigger and more extravagant the walkouts the more the fight ends up a total let down in Boxing or anything in North America because they are not an artistic statement, they are a hype smorgasbord put together with pop culture and over-cooked icons.
