How many times have you posted this same 3-4 nonsense? In the last two years he's 2-1, and one of those wins was a 2nd round finish against McGregor, the champion. His other win at lightweight was against Michael Johnson, the same Michael Johnson Khabib beat to earn his interim title shot.

If you read what I'd written previously, my point was... No matter WHO ends up fighting McGregor People wil complain with different and stupid arguements. Still at the end of the day no matter what fight happens everyone will watch. The Diaz part you took offence to was an example. That is all.

I would say this was a huge accomplishment if anyone else was given the same opportunity as Conor and came up short. Due to the fact that Dana gave no other fighter but Conor the chance to fight another champ while still being the champ of a different division.

If you want to go there other champs who went up or down and won belts actually defended them.

Why would they only do it for one guy if they could just make Sage Northcutt one of the biggest sports stars in the world?

Too far in the future for higher stakes. I'll honestly be shocked if he comes back at all, but if he really wants to get into promotion he's going to need to at least complete his contract. I surmise he'll burn through a portion of the Floyd money in 2018 and return to refresh the stash in 2019. Wouldn't be surprised if he did Hollywood for 2018.
