Man, Father Time is a sonuvabitch!!!

I haven't gotten any older but some of these guys have.:)
A lot of these fighters made good careers for themselves, at least in terms of octagon success, maybe not making a lot of bank.

That finale between Griffin/Bonnar goes down as one of the greatest UFC fights of all time even if it wasn't a technical beauty, it was a slobberknocker!

Lots more details about the debut season here:

I can’t go to much into detail but a good source told me he had a very good meeting with Bellator over the weekend. This got posted on Instagram by Wandy. Chuck through private text didn’t confirm but he didn’t exactly deny either.

There seemed to be so much riding on that fight night as the UFC's way to break through to the mainstream. The story has been that it really saved the promotion. Griffin and Bonnar was finally that moment where you could say to a random person: this is why I watch it. It made me want to go back and suffer through Royce vs Takada and Miletich vs Saunders just to show my gratitude.

I was 14, had seen one UFC event at my brothers place and had heard something about Ninja's and giants fighting in a cage or something before when I was just a wee lad... had no idea how important this sport would become to me then.

So 13 years ago, I logged onto the UG for the first time.
I remember there was a specific TUF forum that was not associated with any other MMA site that I can remember. I actually got a message there asking me to post positive things there for a bit of $$$ No lie. I never wrote back to see if it real, but have to say yes since there def seems to be shills.

And for some reason I remember the font being the color red.... can't bet money on that part.
