Carlito is on his way out of WWE, according to a report from PWInsider. The 46-year-old Judgment Day member will not have his contract renewed, and once it expires, he’ll be leaving the company. This situation is similar to R-Truth’s exit. At last night’s World Wrestling Council event, Carlito defeated Ray Gonzalez to win the WWC Puerto Rico Heavyweight Championship.

confirmed that R-Truth was contacted over the weekend by someone from talent relations and informed that his contract would not be renewed. The decision came as a surprise to many within the company. R-Truth, who is 53, was widely seen as a WWE lifer. Sources told Fightful that he wasn’t in any kind of trouble and had done nothing wrong. Several wrestlers reportedly reached out to him afterward, and even Truth himself was said to be confused by the move. R-Truth’s new T-Shirt “Ron Cena” was a top selling shirt on the WWE Shop.

Kevin Owens: I’ve said many times that there are a few people in this industry for whom I have unlimited respect, love and admiration for. @RonKillings is at the very top of that list. An incredible, timeless performer with an unmatched ability to entertain and bring a smile to anyone he encounters, be it the fans or every single person lucky enough to have had the privilege to work alongside him. His kindness, humility and infectious good nature makes him one of the most beloved people I’ve met in this industry and the void that his absence will leave in our locker room is immeasurable. I love you, dude.

Rhea Ripley: In all seriousness, this is literally so heartbreaking… Thank you Truth

Naomi: Noooooooo we never got do our tik toks

Big E: No one made me laugh backstage more than Ron. I’ve known this man for 13 years. He treated me like a brother from the very first day. Never saw him in a bad mood. A man who spread kindness and joy every chance he could.

Ricochet: You’re an amazing talent and an even better person. Go enjoy your life unc!

Cathy Kelley: one of my favorite and most supportive people i’ve ever gotten to work with. gonna miss you so much Truthy

Baron Corbin: Mind blowing! A true company guy and amazing person! Thank you for everything in and out of the ring my friend.

A.J. Francis (Top Dolla): R-Truth is the Wrestling Hip Hop G.O.A.T

Aiden English: The number of times I’ve been on a card with Ron and he was one of the most over performers on the card – even if it was during a time when he wasn’t being featured on TV – I can’t even count. One of the funniest and best out there!

Matt Cardona: I can’t even count how many times Truth has been counted out…just to come back and entertain us EVEN MORE!!!

Knew she was gone when they went back to being the War Raiders. Hasn't been on TV in months.

Didn't she just get called up like a year ago?
She's been off for almost a year. Pregnant and then off with her baby. There was also some scuttlebutt that she didn't want to be with WWE anymore because she has two young kids.

Carlito is kind of the same boat. He's been talking about retirement for at least the last six months, and even he realizes they've been paying him for nothing, lol.

UPDATE : R-Truth’s release from WWE was reportedly planned since earlier this year by Nick Khan who did put his name on the cost benefit analysis list before it was decided to letting him running down on his contract rather than cutting him among others.

This is one of the reasons why John Cena, apparently aware of the situation, requested to added a program with R-Truth into his farewell tour in attempt to convince the WWE higher-ups that his old friend could still be a valuable asset to the company. This attempt unfortunately failed and R-Truth is now officially on his way out of the WWE after 17 years.

Apparently WWE banned the talent from wearing R-Truth shirts during RAW, yet Dirty Dom was able to sneak in wearing a Carlito shirt. For instance, Rhea did a social post wearing an R-Truth shirt, but come TV, she wasn't wearing it.

Also Coachman saying R-Truth was offered a different deal, but was super low-balled and turned it down.
