LOL. I thought the thread was referencing yesterday. There were very minor issues for a short time. I didn't think anything of it.

there were some network issues not related to our server that slowed access for some geographic regions. I was affected too. I'm glad you felt they were minor. That was the worst unexpected technical issue we've had since starting. I was having a heart attack LOL.

This thread is referencing a slow move from one DNS to another where we expected downtime anyways, but it was half up and half down for some.

No site is going to be perfect, especially since there are external dependencies in play re: the network. That you guys care enough to acknowledge something so minor (the ticker tape at the top) shows a lot.

Nope, spam is a tough tough thing to stay ahead of. We have a spam filter but some get through from time to time. If you see it just PM a mod or report it and we will get it cleaned up ASAP. Thanks for the heads up everyone

I'm not sure what protections we have now, it has been a while since I registered, but on previous forums I've been a part of, one of the best protections was asking a simple question that everyone would know, but a bot wouldn't, during registration. Something like, 'What is the parent company of the UFC?' or 'What division did GSP compete in?'. If they get past it, you can just edit in a new question.

we block over 100 spammers every single day. will continue to adapt. but the short answer is no there is no new technology. As time goes on are blocking will become smarter to target those bots Targeting the site

I liked it.The only reason I left & have not returned is because they were sensitive.There was a post about FRB & I posted a video from Youtube about a ginger dancing on Ecstasy.Some members didn`t like it,and it got deleted so,I just left,because there was alot worse stuff that had already been posted there.
