There are more humane ways of hunting than clubbing something death. Whether by bow or by rifle, you have no argument againdt this point. Joe Rogan would support me on this. I think there's some argument. Bow hunting has a higher chance than a rifle of wounding an animal. That's not very humane. If you can kill the seal in one club, it's painless. I agree that the potential for suffering exists but that's true of other forms of hunting.

@Mix6APlix the Canadian veterinary association says that an instantaneous death blow to the head from a club is as humane or more than shooting and possibly having to bleed out. They are also harvested for their pelts as well as the meat so protecting the fur is important
As a hunter, I'd rather club something in one good solid blow than shoot and wound it.
