What BMX bike did you have? I have a PowerLite aluminum Frame , s&m pitch fork, primo meat tenderizer pedals, 3 piece crank, triple wall sun rims.... The good old days
Wow man that sounds like a nice setup, Powerlites were uncommon but SOOOOO nice. What I currently have is a 96 Robinson Team XL, RL 3 piece cranks, DK XL stem, Shimano DX flat pedals. Other than that I tried to get it back as close to original with the parts I had left over. The nicest bike I had was an Auburn CR20RX but it was stolen :( I'll put a pic up asap or maybe wait and start a BMX thread to get some old school riders out.

I can't believe I remembered the parts list. I forget what handle bars I had but I also had the gt dirt jumping seat post and seat off a gt bump. Man I mowed so many lawns to buy that thing myself and build it up.
I used to race in Meriden, CT at Falcon Field. My father would drive me and my buddy in his little 2 door 91 Nissan sentra. He is 6'7". I also did a bunch of dirt jumping around the Hamden CT and Wallingford areas.
It's been like 16 years since I had that thing.

I used to what a Robinson soooooo bad. They were such nice bikes.

That's good that you're out there rolling around man. I've always been a fan of two wheels on anything. I still have my BMX from my teenage days when I raced, have a road bike and a downhill MTN bike plus dirt bikes for myslef and the kids. Bikes are just an awesome way to have fun and keep in shape. Are you right in the city in NY?
I'm in the boroughs, but it's actually worse out here where there are no bike lanes. The city has promoted citybike so much that they make it a point to make it safe for bikers. It's expanding to Brooklyn and Queens though so we'll see how it goes.
