Looking for a pair. It's one of the things I don't have in zombie apocalypse/shtf bag. Laser range finder would be great. Any recommendations?

We've covered this. That's why I have my ninja gear.

I'm no expert. I've got a set, but the scope on my rifle gives me a much better view.
I can literally aim/view my neighbors heart through their window @ around 150 yards likes it's within handgun/birdwatching range.

They can get heavy. Even the high end ones. Not something I want to pack around if weight is a factor and it is always a factor. A good Monocular from Leupold or similar company will do just fine.

Well if I had the HK 416 or Steyr AUG of my dreams, of course I'd have good optics for it. Until then, binoculars will have to do.

Monocular is the way to go.it is much easier to keep your eye on the target and bring the mono up to your eye and far less cumbersome
