Why Chael got mad was for a very legitimate reason. When a guy starts protecting the microphone and talking over the person being interviewed it becomes an editing issue. We've seen it happen in the past. They'll spin it an turn it into on of those click bait articles. Chael is a smart guy and immediately saw that he was trying to pull a Katie Couric.

This isn't the exact same thing but take the wwe for example,they will not let you interview one of their guys without a wwe camera crew present in order to avoid manipulative editing.
