J.B. Mauney was regarded as the best bull rider of his era and one of the best of all time. He always drew the rankest bull.

But two years ago, Mauney was bucked off by the bull named Arctic Assassin and landed on his head. The wreck ended up breaking his neck and he had surgery two days later, which required a rod, plates, and screws, as well as the removal of a disc.

He bought Arctic Assassin, and this is the two of them today.

I would be scratching that beefy boy with a lawn rake as I slowly backed away. I'm surprised how popular bull riding is up here, Bangor usually has a couple big PBR shows a year.
