Who knew what great heights he would achieve in the years that followed. Where will Conor be 5 years from now? What's your best guess?

The skinny kid in the CM Punk shirt makes me laugh for some reason
But Conor was a very funny & likable guy
Now its all yelling & insults
I like the up-coming Conor better
Much wittier then the Superstar Conor

I don’t like Conor’s outside the cage antics but after seeing that Cage Warriors right a few posts up I have to say he’s come a very long way since being signed to the ufc...His fight IQ has improved ten fold

Conor has charisma for days. Had it back then too, just needed a bigger platform. He was destined to be a star.

He was very genuine and a pretty cool dude. Probably still is behind the character. Really do enjoy his fights, style and ability to read opponents to bait them. Yet, can’t say I enjoy the current gimmick without the fighting part.

Its as if the humor and wit has devolved into a caricature. It appears he had a limited amount of Ric Flair material to work with, now running on repeat. Taking the next step, as any good cosplayer would, he may have watched the 30 for 30 about the Nature Boy, and has now entered the letting the gimmick get to your head portion of his career.

Following that pattern, he may come back in 2019 as the sudden 50% owner of UFC, which may or may not lead to a boxing fight with Dana at a January PPV. But a solid career will follow thereafter. Cool.

Could you imagine Dana getting his ass kicked on PPV? Humble Dana? He must have paid Tito a lot of money so he could keep living the fantasy of being a non fighting fighter.

Perhaps living this altered reality through Conor is what fuels his constant defense of the Natchorios Boi. Has to be, what else brings someone to explain that someone defended their title before winning it? Assholetral Projection at its finest.

Conor started out likeable, but just gets worse as time goes on. But I get it, he makes more money this way.

I used to say a year or two back that he was as fake as can be and everything is just an act for the cameras, but he's ok IRL.

Now I'm not even sure about that anymore. Look at his rap sheet - Cheating on mother of his baby, strong rumour of cocaine use, beating 50 year olds up, invading cages, pushing refs, assaulting officials. He likes to talk about what he's worth but denies other people the chance at making money by holding onto belts x2 and not fighting at all.

Its like his persona has leaked into his personal life.

I hope he gets humbled in his next fight. I like him as a fighter, but the months of bullshit and circus antics preceding any fight out weights the pleasure of seeing him fight. I hope he gets a beating like Cain gave Bigfoot from who ever he fights next, takes his money and slips in obscurity.

probably not fighting to recover from Khabib's ground n pound still

too bad he can't tap to ground n pound, that's always been his go-to move whenever he feels helpless
