You gotta give Conor credit. When he signs for a fight, he shows up on weight and puts on exciting fights. Just wish he would do more cage fighting and less bs.

Yeah, he misses fights entirely.
When did he last fight?
Was that the one with Nate Diaz he paid $300,000.00 for a gameplan to squeak by with a decision?
Was that 2016?
;)

what round was that?

that fight was a work IMO a glorified exhibition to milk publics money...almost as sickening as the split ggg vs canelo judge fix to take all unanimous decision bets

I think conor fights 3 more times in his career at most

because he doesn't defend

DJ has 11 title defenses, that would have been 11 more times Conor should have weighed in

okay, more relevant to Conor, Jose Aldo defended title 7 times, that's 7 more times Conor could have missed weight

Given how much weight Conor has to cut to get to 145, he's more impressive than either of those guys

no doubt. Conor's great in his own ways. He did make weight all the time and shows up to fight no matter what. He's also the best at making the most out of an opportunity, get his bang for his buck, how to shine when it matters the most because of his intelligence of recognizing those chances and going ALL-in with everything he has.

But it's limited to only if he can implement his methods in that allowed window or else he won't be able to sustain just like his fighting style, always looking for the perfect moment and putting all his energy into throwing the left, but when you add volume to the number of opportunities, he can't sustain that type of fight (we saw it in the DIaz fights, Conor's left diminishes as fight progresses mainly cuz he gas)

when you add more opportunities for him to cut weight, like a title defense (since you gotta be right on the dot), he might have some problems and if he doesn't, that's great but we'll never know since who knows when he's fighting?

and just for that, this great accomplishment of Conor's doesn't seem that great.

GSP defended title 9 times, never missed weight in his entire career.

His extra curriculars don’t leave him with much appetite.

I mean how much coffee he drinks obviously.

i like the way he has completely split Dana's arse apart and shifted the deal on pay for many fighters. for example, no fucking way ragin' Al would have got the raise he demanded if Dana's butthole was intact
