Cummings vs. Munch

A superfight is set to take place this weekend between Renzo Gracie Black belt Eddie "Wolverine" Cummings and Marcelo Garcia Black belt Mansher Munch Khera here in NYC. Both of these guys came up through the ranks around the same time and are killer competitors, probably top 5 a their weight in NYC.

Eddie is an old training partner of mine, but I have a lot of friends at MG's too. Munch took on Eddie's training partner Garry Tonon a little while ago and lost, but it was a great showing.

My prediction is Eddie takes this by heelhook. This match is super important to the future of BJJ as the new guard continues to take over. Both guys are awesome!

And if that's not enough, Eddie is rematching Tanquinho in the UK in a few weeks at Polaris 3!

Also the homie Jon Satava from Marcelo's is facing Ireland's Darragh O'Connaill and there's of course Tonon vs. Palhares.

Only on a couple occasions and when he was first starting out. It's been amazing watching him turn the corner. He's an incredibly cool guy and a true sponge. We're both originally from the oft overlooked Tech Cell under Krishna Mirjah.

Eddie won by decision! He was bummed he didn't get the sub, but he spent the whole match on the attack. Great effort by both guys.
