Have other ppv estimates in the past used other countries? I always thought the numbers were only US buys.
I think it usually includes the countries listed but not place like the UK where they have btsports instead of ppv

Our bet was the total # of PPV buys in Wyoming, South Dakota, New Mexico, and Rhode Island right?

I don't know... Respectable yes but nothing amazing. If this is the best the UFC
can do without Conor then they better cut that man in on the company shares he
wants cuz they are fooked.

I'm actually very surprised Jon Jones was still able to draw a number like this.

I guess it was all the heat he had with Cormier. He strikes me as a situational draw, kind of like Anderson Silva was for a lot of his reign: put an interesting challenger in front of him and he'll draw very nice numbers (and 850k is a very nice number).

Cormier was an interesting opponent, because he was the dominant champion now, and it wasn't clear if Jon Jones had lost a step after being gone so long.

But as of now the only remaining "interesting" opponent at Light-Heavyweight is Gustafsson, since he nearly beat Jones the first time. A rematch with Gustafsson would also be the only remaining fight in the division in which Jones had anything to prove, at least at the moment.

Meanwhile I'd bet a fight with Lesnar fight would break 1 million, as would a fight with Miocic.
