I remember at a different forum, that video was posted of Team Hoyt. I'll never forget what somebody posted, something along the lines of "I can't barely take seeing what that father would do for his son, I can't even relate to it since my dad never did shit for me". That video and that comment will always stick with me, there are such stark differences between the people on this planet and the way they choose to live their lives and what they will leave behind.

I grew up in Boston before joining the Navy and remember them doing the Boston Marathon every year. One of the greatest sports stories that I remember.
We have a table dedicated to them in the chow hall at the state police academy, there is always a motivational speaker at each graduation and they were the speakers one year, wish I had been there for that.
