Not sure a lot of people care about connor anymore-casuals Im talking about. Hes the guy that lost to floyd. Hes been out of the game so long...hell, I hardly care. Will I watch, sure, I watch for free, but not sure casuals would. Like it or not, Ronda is a much bigger star and her return would do more

I agree with this, truth is that the way the UFC markets their fighters, it's what have done for me LATELY.... Casual fans see a guy who hasn't fought MMA in a couple of years and lost a boxing match. Not to mention that even die hard fans won't purchase the PPV, most will sports bar it.... I think they over estimate these buy rates.

A couple of side points, first (and it's been discussed in another thread), I hate that the UFC is using that bus attack footage in the promotional material, and will probably market this fight as Conor's "triumphant come back fight"..... And second, with Nate returning the month after, how much promotional footage will they show of him beating Conor before Conor's return fight? (Getting back to the casual fan perspective... 2 years gone, lost to Floyd, and now a bunch of other promo stuff for Nate showing Conor getting boxed up and choked.... Will that effect those buy rates?).

I think a safe over/under is 1,500,000

The bus attack footage will help a lot in terms of reeling in casual viewers

I think that's a pretty good O/U. I would bet the over, but barely.
I'd take the over as well. Khabib needs to get a arrested a few times in high profile news stories for them to crack 2m though.

Don’t see that happening. Smart to throw that number out there to plant a “fight everyone is going to watch” seed.

I could see it beating Conor Diaz 2 but I imagine it'll hit around there. 2 mil is pretty crazy.
All depends on how crazy the build up is
Conor is a bigger star than he was with Diaz II & the dolly/Brooklyn thing & Khabib's aura can be big
If the build-up gets crazy, I can see it
