I posted this clip earlier then deleted it kinda once I looked into that
I guess the guy got a contract to fight in a UFC fighters promotion to try to win a UFC shot
Basically just took him backstage to talk about it and figured something out...who is this guy?
remember when making it to the ufc was a big deal not something dana would hand out as a publicity stunt?
It was still a great video. He gave the guy hope and a potential chance to fight for the UFC.
Also UFC had tons of bums fighting in it starting with UFC 1. In modern times, the whole CM Punk fiasco, first you had CM Punk, then you had Michael Jackson (0-0 record first UFC fight), then Mickey Gall (1-0 first UFC fight). Gall is 7-6 now and scheduled to fight in a couple of weeks which is great that he's had that staying power but he was thrown in the deep end too early in his career. This guy says he's 9-0 he's already got a much better record than a lot of other fighters that have made their UFC debuts.

The UFC used to be the best of the best and every fight was for something or meant something.
Not anymore.
