Heard hes done some improv shows over the last couple years too...where he'll just show up at a comedy club and do a 15 minute skit. That would be unreal if you happened to be there that night & he randomly showed up.He did four shows over two nights in February at an ampitheatre maybe 15 minutes from me.
I went online the day they went on sale and every single ticket was gone. They were originally selling for $75 but had gone up to $250 on resale sites like stubhub.
He's by far my favorite stand-up comedian of all time.Heard hes done some improv shows over the last couple years too...where he'll just show up at a comedy club and do a 15 minute skit. That would be unreal if you happened to be there that night & he randomly showed up.
Regarding tickets...yeah, good luck getting them. Dude is the The Beatles of comedians.
Yeah that's steep. No way I would pay that....especially when there's been reports that some shows he's done since leaving Chappelle Show were disasters, where he'd just ramble for 10-15 minutes and leave. He's by far my favorite stand-up comedian of all time.
I really, really wanted to go and see him live and thought because it was a smaller venue in a pretty small town (I'm surrounded by huge arenas in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area, and he chose Coral fucking Springs), I'd have a chance.
I probably would have dropped $300 on a pair of tickets to one of the shows, but $500 is a little out of my price range right now.
He did a show at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Holloywood, FL and got pissed off that people were recording his show and because the top Seminole Indian guys were doing nothing about it. So he stopped in the middle of his set, started texting and playing on his phone for 15-20 minutes until his contracted time was up, and then left.Yeah that's steep. naw he has lost it a bit....funny guy but something is "off" as they sayHe did a show at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Holloywood, FL and got pissed off that people were recording his show and because the top Seminole Indian guys were doing nothing about it. I guess it's a big deal for the bigger-name guys not to let their shows get recorded and uploaded to YouTube and other sites because the comedians use mostly the same routines all across the county.
I haven't seen any of his recent stand-up shows so I honestly couldn't saynaw he has lost it a bit....funny guy but something is "off" as they say
