Do you think Dana White knew about the bus attack and was either in on it or facilitated it?

Personally I think it's highly possible. I think Dana was trying to drum up some publicity and figured a big Conor/Khabib confrontation would get people talking about UFC 223 and also a Conor/Khabib showdown later in the year. Remember, Bisping claims that McGregor was there to give an announcement, which likely would have been him vs Khabib.

But I think Dana only expected a lot of shouting and cursing. He didn't expect Conor to go so far and throw the dolly through the bus and injure people. The stunt went too far and blew up in his face.

The reason this is relevant is obviously because if Dana knew about this and let it happen - or even had a hand in orchestrating it - guys like Ray Borg and Chiesa should be suing the UFC as well and getting more money, for the UFC not providing a safe work environment.

Conor has a lot of money, but Dana and the UFC obviously have much more.

Nah. He knew he was in town. And probably wanted to do some sort of promoting with him, but if Dana planned the attack then he also had to plan khabib clowning artem. Now we getting into some enock type stuff

no way. what if they killed someone with the dolly?
Well that's what I'm saying - I think it's entirely possible he let it happen thinking it would be a harmless scuffle with cursing, yelling, maybe even some pushing and shoving. I don't think he expected Conor to throw the dolly.

I think he was, and like everyone else, didn't think Conor was strong enough to pick up that dolly.

Nope

Why would he jeopardize the card that's already been plagued with fighter changes, in the state that he fought so damn hard to get MMA legalized?

I think it got out of hand...I do think Dana knew he was gonna confront Khabib

probably was supposed to get to him before the bus and Conor made some bad improvised decisions that are gonna have some unexpected repercussions

This. WME expected Conor and his crew to act like typical Americans too concerned about getting arrested/sued. For some reason no one stopped and realized that that's not how it works everywhere in the world. Irish hooligans give zero fucks about spending a night in jail and financial liability.

They opened the lion cage at the zoo and expected him to just run around and scare people.

Throwing the cart and breaking the window? No.

Conor being let in, told where to go, and confronting Khabib with the Embedded crew there? Fucking A.

yea i guess it's a possibility since Dana's a scum.

he might do something nice time to time but it's either PR work or donating some chump change

I think Egg had planned for Conor to fly in and cause a scene at the presser. I don't think
he knew he would escalate to the bus attack. That nearly cost them the card.

He can't be that much of a clown. Least I hope not

Conor being let in, told where to go, and confronting
Dana said they acquired that footage and it wasn’t from the ufc folks. He definitely said the footage from inside the bus was acquired from folks making a documentary on Khabib. Who knows what the truth is though.

That's very plausible , I think. We all know that part of his marketing of the product
is about drama and controversy. He created a monster , though . An irate, (alleged)
crackhead Leprechaun * but a monster nevertheless.

* no disrespect to the Irish, customs, mythology, blah blah blah, see my attorney
