They were on NBC. Bigger sports entities sand bagged the fuck out of them.lol I remember this was broadcast on some crappy network like UPN and they sold the jerseys at ross after they folded.

Probably would've survived if it made it into its second season too. I remember it going down (I was about 18 at the time) but the behind the scenes fuckery was wild.XFL brought us miked up players and the overhead camera shots on the field that we see in the NFL today.
It was thrown together way too fast and ended up a colossal failure, but the league wasn't without its innovations that had lasting effects.
I thought being the original backer for Team Quest was pretty good, but maybe you're right. Its the only good thing that Vince Mcmahon has done
Youre thinking of Rico ChaparelliI thought being the original backer for Team Quest was pretty good, but maybe you're right.
Team RAW, bro. Think about it.Youre thinking of Rico Chaparelli
Even today when asked about it in that documentary he's still such a smug asshole about the whole thing. And I really wanted Vince to knock the fuck out of Bob Costas in that interview.
Probably because Bob is a smug asshole. Smart guy. Great broadcaster. But definitely a smug little asshole.Even today when asked about it in that documentary he's still such a smug asshole about the whole thing.
Yeah, I watched it on TV, but thought I'd try to share with the class. I'm not much of one for watching things online, so this was all I could come up with, lol. Thanks for this. I've been constantly impressed with these. And this looks amazing. But gonna have to find me a higher quality version.
