Not in the slightest.. he never breaks posture..he stays on his feet until he smashes his way through the guard and passes to side control... he never lays in guard...he also usually slams ppl into side control negating the guard completely.. the way he always gets wrist control is the way the highest level of wrestlers ride at the pinnacle of the sport..if he controls a wrist he KNOWS you can't sub him.. he then demoralizes ppls will by relentlessly getting wrist control then smashing ppl through the mat...Hes got unreal cardio and if he is healthy there isn't a guy on the planet @155 that can stop his grappling.. if he's awake you are in trouble.. when Ben Askren is in awwe of your grappling prowess you know it's serious.

I figured his money fight was Diaz, Malignaggi or Pacquiao anyway.

This is one of the greatest LW bouts I can think of, if both show up at 100%.

The UFC would be wise to show Fergy/Barboza & Khabib/Barboza replays in the weeks leading in.
Both are easily marketable, and, they are promoters afterall.

that's a great breakdown. I always like to question Khabib's aura of invencibility but I don't know shit about grappling. reading this makes me understand more why he's so good and why Ferguson may have a hard time.

He does everything right and makes legit grapplers look sub par...He's the total package on the ground..imho the best we have seen all around from takedowns to gnp and imposing his skillset.. He's just that good

I can agree with you that Tony is a better stylistic match-up for Conor than Khabib is, but thinking Conor is trying in any way to duck Khabib is just ludicrous.
