The new one just didn't feel like a MK movie. More like a martial arts ninja movie.
The 90s one dissapointed in the gore factor. Needed more fatalities. Huge ball drop there, imo.
It had to do with the ratings. They wanted a wider audience. I agree though. Mk without the gore. Is a little lame. It still captured the feel better. Than the new one.
The kids would've snuck in 100%. The cast was practically spot on. We all went to see Terminator 2, Aliens, etc. We would've taken our kids to this.
I do the Macarena to that soundtrack.
