International entries are allowed with the buyer paying actual shipping costs. Shipping to the UK is available, but with the potential addition of new laws all risk falls on the BUYER.

This is my take on the design, with some elements remaining traditional and others that I’ve taken some artistic liberty with.

The blade itself is hand-forged with convex geometry leading down to both edges and sports an extremely fine tip that is quite durable. Differentially heat-treated via clay-quenching, the ridge-line of the blade is soft where the edges are hardened. The edges have been tempered back to around 54Rockwell for proper durability in use as a sword. In simple terms, this has been made to use. It is not just a wall-hanger.

The wood used for the handle, guard and pommel is dyed Maple. The handle itself has a leather over-wrap.

The blade itself is a through-tang construction. Meaning, the tang runs all the way through the entire handle. Then the remaining bit of the exposed tang is peened over a brass, “nut” at the bottom of the pommel. But I didn’t stop there in terms of security. It’s also pinned horizontally through the handle and tang in three places, then peened over as well.

The absolute sturdiest construction one can offer, as each handle piece is hand-fit to the tang before any of the hardware was even installed. Further, both the guard-plate and the brass nut on the end of the pommel sport hand-forged brass rivets for additional security. Each rivet was forged by me specifically for its fitting.

The sheath is a piece of art all its own. Hand-tooled leather in a Roman theme and dyed Roman red with aged brass hardware. SPQR embossed directly into the leather along with traditional Roman linework patterns. All the brass on the sheath is hand-forged and meticulously aged via a combination of chemicals and heat. Same goes for the brass hardware on the handle. The shoulder strap is black leather with a felt backing and secured via riveted brass o-rings for a secure fit.

I’d like to add as well that every single piece of everything that went into this sword was sourced RIGHT HERE in the US of A.

Every last bit of steel, wood, brass, leather, dye, etc. All of it sourced here.
