UFC welterweight talent Gunnar Nelson suffered the worst loss of his career at UFC Fight Night 113, losing via first-round knock out to the No. 9 ranked Santiago Ponzinibbio.

Ponzinibbio, 30, crumpled Nelson with a right straight and a left jab but landed a series of blatant eye pokes in the lead-up to the KO.

Nelson’s longtime coach, John Kavanagh, wasn’t happy about it and the team filed a complaint to the UFC in hopes of having the loss overturned to a no contest....

Pretty sure the UFC has a conflict of interest here with promoting Ponzinibbio, even though I understand they are their own commission in some countries, and I think Gunnar did take responsibility afterward.

Don't some promotions hire one of the reservation commissions to provide those services when needed? That seems like a better option.
