There was a lot of speculation on other forums early in Jones career that Jones was using back then....many posted pics of Jon's nips ...some suspected he had the signs early on.

This is exactly why I am always screaming about fighting for points instead of fighting to finish. Never leave it in the judges hands.
Sometimes you just can't get the finish and the judges should be able to score cards correctly. I hate the saying don't let it go to the scorecards. It's stupid and gives an excuse for shitty judging or puts some sort of blame on fighters for not getting a finish
Not in this instance specifically cause I'm not too sure if gus did do enough to win or if jones deserved the W, but just in general

My point was that there are certain camps out there that will be yes men to their bell cows (like when the chick with the bolt ons told her boyfriend "just coast baby".) instead of telling them to push forward and finish the fight. You flatline your opponent, or choke him unconcious, then there is no debate to be had.
Like Herm Edwards said: "You play to win the game." In MMA you should fight to finish your opponent, not have a glorified sparring match. Nobody watches MMA to watch people play paddy cake, and if they do they have been fans since way back when that Brock guy was champ.

I thought you were going back to sherdog if jones b sample came back positive?
Can't watch now, but USADA has 10 years to retest samples, right? Or is it 5 years? Let them go back with better tests and come out with everyone Jones wasn't clean against, as long as they test the opponent as well. It would give us something to talk about anyway.
