Guybson Sa won Conflict belt, trying out for TUF

If you follow grappling in the southeast, you likely know who Guybson Sa is. @Rhino and I have talked about him on here before. He is a black belt who runs a school in Columbia SC, and has MMA fights in Brazil and the US. He just won the Conflict MMA 205 title this Saturday with a dominating performance, finishing Sam Promanee with elbows to the head from closed guard/triangle position in less than a minute. During his post-fight comments, he said he is heading to Vegas for the upcoming Ultimate Fighter tryouts. I don't know much about his striking, but his Jiu-Jitsu is beautiful. The video of this weekends fight should be avalible soon, I will post it here when it is released.
I think he stands a good chance of making TUF, so hopefully look for him on the next season.
Locally, there is talk about him fighting another talented grappler in Kelly Anundson. I would love to see that match, or either of them vs Tex Johnson.

^ that is a video that someone recorded off of the live stream so the framerate is bad and many of the shots are from a poor vantage point. The full resolution and edited video will follow once the promotion releases it.

Parabens Guybson.... Great guy, already a stud in the BJJ community with victories over Buchecha and I believe Rodolfo. Yeah if he's going out for TUF, he'll be a legit contender to win the show.

He does run a great school (SAS team), and his dad is one of the few non Gracie red belts, so he's been doing BJJ his whole life. I wish him the best and look forward to seeing him compete in TUF (Hope he makes it)

Per his Facebook, he passed the striking and grappling components, but fell out because of his record.

Isn't Kelly Anundson a pretty high level wrestler? I always like the chess match between high level grapplers with different specialties.

Kelly is a high level wrestler. Agree about watching grapplers from different styles meet; I think it would be a very interesting match
