Lot of people calling out Edmund, but lets be real here.
Ronda is not a child, she is a grown women, a grown adult who can consciously make her own decisions.
She chooses to get dressed in the morning, make the commute over to Edmunds gym - walk through the doors - and commit her time and energy to what ever Edmund instructs her to do.
Edmund is obviously passionate and wants to see Ronda win, in reality (in his mind) he is doing the best he can do with what he knows to help Ronda succeed. (But that doesn't mean he is correct, he too may need to evolve his fight game and understand this is MMA and not boxing.)
The blame IMO is to be placed on Ronda for choosing to surround herself with such characters, at any time and point she has the ability to consciously make a choice to switch camps. (But this is the learning process of losing, something Ronda never really faced in her career.)
It's called "Adversity", men/women face it everyday with the hardships that come with life, but the beauty of it all is that we all have a choice in which direction we choose to go when facing adversity ....some choose to hide away, lock themselves up, put their heads in the sand. While others go into deep self-reflection mode and really breakdown where it went wrong, once they find the problem they search hard for the solution and understand that there is something flawed within themselves so they seek to correct the flaw. This is when Champions are made, this is what separates the chumps from the champs ...this is what makes Men...MEN! and Women ...WOMEN!
