I dont have a solution. I dont mean for my uneducated opinion to sound like I do.
I'm just surprised at Trump's new role as leader of the world police. A position he made clear when campaigning, he was not interested in. But then again, like Obama said, when you get into office, you see the world through a different lens (or something like that).

Nothing has changed. North Korea keeps testing nukes and firing missiles. North Korea has the intent to have nuclear missiles at further and farther distances. North Korea will be able two strike the US Mainland inside of two years with a nuclear strike.
No set of politicians or details about the situation will be different and that period Of time. Only the nuclear threat will grow.
The move is part of a larger deal. The goal is not to solve North Korea. The goal is to force China to solve North Korea.
So do you think Trump holds off on making any kind of a move until China first takes steps to disarm NK ?

Honestly have no idea what to expect here. Trump met with their president and then this move. China is moving troops so this is all coordinated and planned. It may have been planned for months with just a recent confirmation based on North Korea's actions.
I would imagine that when Tillerson met with Putin today this was a considerable subject as well.
