When the idea of Conor vs. Floyd in boxing first arose, Dana used to dismiss it outright. Remember how he said he had a better chance of playing for the Patriots? Well, now he isn't ruling anything out...

Isn’t when Daner is optimistic about something, it never happens, then when he says something will never happen, it happens?

Also curious, and I know he won’t do this because money, but could Floyd with a professional boxing record do ammy MMA fights? Know he won’t, Im just generally curious

I don't see how Floyd would be paid anywhere close to what he makes boxing.

BS. Floyd will never get his ass beat and humiliated for 1/100th of what he usually make.

It's the Money Team, they're not going to take a loss or UFC could never match his previous pay and more chance injuries can occur for training for MMA fight and there's no guarantees or none of that.

Never gonna happen. Not ever. If Floyd manages to piss through all his money he would make way more by coming back and boxing up some can than he would from getting destroyed by Conor in an MMA fight.

he wants mma to be fully qualified as watercooler chat. this sort of attention and speculation does great things to push mma deeper into the subconscious of the general public. that's a good thing.

I don't see this happening. How does this really benefit Floyd other than protecting his boxing record while still fighting professionally. The whole thing just feels very WWE. UFE - Ultimate Fighting Entertainment.
