Injured my knee rolling on Sunday. Hopefully it's nothing major. Anyway here's some injury tips.

I always stress to my guys that recovery time is critical. Stretching really helps in recovery too, I know too many guys who ignore this and end up pulling something (young guys can get away with not doing it, not us older guys LOL). And a good warm up is always important, rolling cold is never a good idea.

Thank you. I'm still training. I've just cut back to drilling.

After I started JuJitsu I injured my shoulder where required surgery. I've been out for 4 months and started again earlier this year. I was so happy to be back and was going everyday, morning and nights. Then I re-injured the same shoulder. I was so devastated and stopped going again. After I watched this video, I immediately went back and used to just do drills but now I just roll with 1 arm tied to my belt. That was probably the greatest thing that ever happened to me.
First of all, it put me back into survival mode (which JuJitsu was meant to be) and my other weakness gets stronger like my guard or using ur legs like hands. But more than anything I'm just happy for me be able to go and train. I'm getting pretty good at defending with 1 arm, once my bad arm is 100%, I can't wait to release the inner beast!

But I should keep my ego in check though, that's how i'd get injured in the first place. This video helped me overcome my stupid ego.
