I love Ruten for what he's done for the sport, he also seems like a fun dude to be around- even though I believe about 60% of every story he says. His barfighting tutorial DVD is awesome and has given me loads of tips, I even managed to effectively use the headlock escape and later got interested in MMA because of shit like this.

Hopefully FOX or the UFC will utilize Bas in some way. Who wouldn't want that guy representing their sport? He's funny, likable and has credibility as a HOF fighter.

When the SF Grand Prix announcement came, the spirit of the show was obvious, although Bas' did his best to walk a fine line.

He is a far superior Color Man compared to Rogan..wacky but so fun to listen to.
And he has actually fought past the age of 19.
Rogan is fun but the guy competed in Head gear and in a sport that doesn't resemble MMA at all. His color commentary is good but sometimes way off and Biased to the Gills
Bas has done it all in multiple organizations and he also could tune up quadros if needed.

Ill be missing all the guys on the show. But most of all Bass. He's knowledge of the fight scene on MMA was great. His prediction on point. He is colorful, but thought about the fights was great. They spoke about all MMA organizations not just about the UFC. They spoke about up coming fighters from other places, not just UFC. Yes someone should pick up Bass. Thanks Bass, Kenny and Krock. I'm going to miss them and they're show. Good luck to all.
I know he stopped doing Pride commentary because he was sick of travelling to Japan constantly, but I hope he gets a feeling of nostalgia and does commentary for Rizin, especially since they're only doing 4-5 shows a year right now.
