Jon Jones announced as Dirty Boxing co-owner

Jon Jones is joining forces with Mike Perry.

Dirty Boxing Championship announced Friday that the UFC heavyweight champion and former light heavyweight great has signed on to be a co-owner of the combat sports promotion. The news was first reported by TMZ.

“I was hooked from the first show,” Jones said in the announcement. “I believe this is going to be a powerhouse of combat sports. I’m proud to sign my name next to it.”

The move also continues Jones’ working relationship with managers Malki and Abe Kawa, who founded Dirty Boxing alongside Perry in in 2024. The Dirty Boxing ruleset features fighters competing in five-ounce gloves, with elbows and limited ground-and-pound included.

Beating white belt Gane off a loss and bringing Old Stipe off a KO loss 3 years ago out does not make a HW champ.
I just want HW to be active and lets see the best guys fight more often, for the good of the sport and the fans.

Jon was the LHW champ then he vacated the belt, never got the HW belt in most peoples eyes and is now ducking Tom and probably most of the other HWs they offer him if he has to vacate again.
