Its from ufc 188 cain/werdum in june 2015. He fought nate the great and won by corner stoppage after the second. This win over a faded nate was sandwiched between losses to tyron woodley and neil magny.

I believe weidman wins if he doesnt gas out. Lets not forget how bad kelvin got schooled by part time fighter tim kennedy in the first round before kennedy gassed out. Weidman will have a 5 inch height advantage and a 7 inch reach advantage.

Plus i think all the guys weidman has lost to like rockhold, romero and mousasi would beat kelvin. And guys kelvin has victories over weidman would or has already beaten. Send that little pudge back to ww

I actually think that gastylem is too durable and talented to lose this fight, however, I seem to be wrong so often that I'm going to say Weidman wins

agreed, but why is it that it would have been immediately down to steroids in the other case?
Cuz so many "greats" have popped for enhancements...its made the whole fight game be under scrutiny as if it's guilty til proven innocent anymore...Im not a fan of making that assumption based on losses or skids fighters go through...ppl need to realize Weidman was inches from getting knocked out Vs Andy... the best usually come out on the better end of these situations but let's face it Weidman has had one tough row to hoe and has been competitive in every fight he's been in...But when you're fighting the best 185ers to ever walk the planet in any era that shit will happen.. fight results hold so much more weight due to far less frequent competition opposed to other major sports.. the cubs can lose 5 In a row but in a 162 game season that's minimal... fighting is the oddest thing there is... the biggest consequences, scrutiny and lack of pay but at very high level

Kelvin will finish him

Who wants to bet me?
I'll bet you.

Since January of 2015 Kelvin's record is: 3-2-1

Wins:
Nate Marquart, Johny Hendricks, and Tim Kennedy

Losses:
Tyron Woodley and Neil Magny

No Contest: Vitor Belfort.

Lets take a quick look at Kelvin's wins,

When Kelvin fought Nate the Great, Nate was coming into the fight 1-4,..thats a gimme fight if I've ever seen one.

*July 1st 2015 USADA officially testing in the UFC*

Kelvin's next fight was against Johny Hendricks, Hendricks had 1 fight under USADA before facing Gastelum. Johny fought Stephen Thompson and got absolutely massacred losing via TKO in the 1st round.

Gastelum was able to take a 3rd Round decision win against Johny Hendricks in their bout, Hendricks is currently 1-4 since USADA was introduced into the UFC.

Kelvin's next big win was against Tim Kennedy on December 10th 2016. Prior to this fight Tim Kennedy had not fought since September 27th 2014 against Yoel Romero in which Kennedy was TKO'd. Kennedy went 2 years and 3 months without a fight ...also add in the fact this was Tim Kennedy's first fight under USADA.

Then we have the No Contest in Kelvin's last fight against Vitor Belfort, in this match Gastelum walked through Vitor Belfort who was 1-3 coming into the fight and looked obviously deflated from his TRT days. In this fight, Kelvin looked good but the fight was overturned to a No Contest after Kelvin tested positive for marijuana and suspended for 90 days.

Also note during this time period from 2015 to present Kelvin dropped two fights to Tyron Woodley and Neil Magny.

Conclusion: Kelvin has talent but his Wins are inflated with over the age legends who are well past their primes ..this is why he called out Anderson Silva ..he was trying to inflate that win record to make it look like he is better then he actually is.

He is now going to face a pissed off hungry Chris Weidman looking to get back in the Win column after being humiliated by Gegard Mousasi.

This fight Chris Wiedman is going to absolutely blast through Kelvin -- the height - reach advantage is going to be noticeable. It's going to be a long night for Kelvin.

Wiedman gets the TKO finish -- Gas contemplates going back to welterweight.

Weidman hasn't been his father's boy a long time now.. if he wasn't the "All American" people would be crying USADA era
I've said Weidman looked different post-USADA ever since his last fight against Mousasi.

Joemacka @Joemacka (not American but from an Anglo-Saxon country so basically the same thing) has commented on how the Chris's cardio sucks ever since USADA.

but if you look at his countdown even the "Rockhold spin" is considered a fluke...gimme a break, its getting ridiculous, he's a talented fighter but why is he being babied so much?

Good point. As a former believer (I still like him, I'm just not as delusional as I used to be), my guess is that it's because:

1. He's a white American

and

2. He's humble and down to Earth (and not a Cali douchebag like Rockhold)
