Social media has a way of bringing people down. Ken Bone had his 15 minutes of fame during which he cashed in with Uber - a move he was criticized for but may prove to be the best thing he could have done given his current situation.
What was the reason of his fame? Something about his look. Who knows really. The internet is a strange place.
Now, we are past the honeymoon stage and at the point when people start to dig. They dig into his past, his social media; anything and everything about Ken Bone must be known because the internet demands it!
Now he's been exposed via his Reddit post history as having committed insurance fraud and having made some questionable comments.

A look at the viral sensation's Reddit history reveals a different side of the wholesome man America thought they'd earned. The discovery comes just a few days after Bone, clad in a red sweater, was sprung into the spotlight during Sunday's presidential debate.
Bone's questionable Reddit posts include a number of comments about the bodies of women in NSFW photos, as well as a confession that he once committed felony insurance fraud, forging documents to make it appear that he had car insurance for his pizza delivery gig.
In addition, he wrote candid comments about the killing of Trayvon Martin, which he referred to as "justified." He also called acquitted gunman George Zimmerman a "big ole shit bird."
Personally, I feel bad for the guy and always have. It's obvious that the internet was obsessed with him because he is a dweeb. He's that guy that you laugh at because he is like a character made up for a tv show where he is just the prototypical dork. Never gets the girl but always fantasizes about it.... Captain of the A/V club in highschool.... So even his fame had a sense of irony about it. He's famous for being the guy that no one notices or cares about. Ironically, that's what got him noticed in the first place.
He did volunteer to ask his question, so obviously he wanted some attention, but what has it cost him now? He was likely tired of a life of being ignored, was craving some attention, and this was his opportunity to get noticed. He was smart and made some money with Uber before it all came crashing down, but now the inevitable has started. What goes up, must come down. This is especially true with people who gain fame in the political arena. Poor Kenny Bone didn't know what he was getting himself into. Politics is vicious.
Sure, this stuff isn't the end of the world for Ken, but this could just be the start of more digging. Once there is smoke, the internet looks for fire. His comments about insurance fraud may lead to concrete evidence and action from the government against him. Other comments he has made on the internet may come back to haunt him as well. Saying Trayvon Martin's murder was justified won't win him many fans. At least he calls Zimmerman a "big ole shit bird", which I assume isn't a compliment. That may save him from the full force of pushback he would have received if people thought he was siding with Zimmerman.
Some other comments they dug up:
In a recent post, he referenced Jennifer Lawrence's hacked nude photos from 2014: "Maybe she should have been more careful with her pics, but the bad guys are still the ones who sought them out and looked at them."
"By which I mean guys like me," he added. "I saw her butt hole. I liked it."
.... Good luck to Ken at returning to a life of mediocrity. He probably didn't appreciate it before, but now he'll be desperate to get it back.
