I personally prefer no testing days but this seems one of those cases where
if u cheated and were caught, u think it's a bad idea and if
u cheated and weren't caught, probably thinks it's a ok idea, and if
u didn't cheat and didn't get caught, probably thinks its a good idea.

now he want to have guys getting beaten down by juicers(himself)

But fighter safety cannot be called a bad thing. It's not like MMA has become boring since more stringent testing has been in place.
Fighters safety isn't assured with this testing by any means though. We still see guys getting caught so we know PEDs are still being used. Now it's just more likely that one guy has and edge.

Sports and PEDs will always be an arms race, no way to get them all with high stakes. Let the fighters do their thing I say. It may get crazy for a bit but at least the playing field is genuinely level.

Level playing field yeah that's for sure.

But the way that guys who aren't power punchers could all of a sudden blast guys into the stratosphere is pretty nuts imo

That's almost impossible to measure as it can always be chalked up to crisper technique, just bring devil's advocate here. And your post had me thinking this right away.

I'm sorry but this is what makes MMAs holy shit moments.

(...) fighter safety cannot be called a bad thing.
USADA doesn't mean at all that the sport is safer. ufc just wants to save face by adhering to "olympic standards" but they do nothing about the one great danger to fighter safety which is extreme weight cutting;

Steroids don't teach timing and punch technique. PEDs mean that guys could have more high quality training sessions and probably provided more confidence and yeah a boost in power. but it's not some magical solution that turns a lazy fatass into a KO artist.

if we had a serious, comprehensive effort at adressing the steroids epidemia I would love it but the ufc would have to turn their roster upside down and start from scratch and nobody wants that. they just want to save face by catching a few guys while at the same time buying "tainted supplement" bullshit from others.

The number of high level strikers kind of negates the ped argument

nothing to do with Rua

tired of fighters getting bested or equalled and then later saying that they won easily

I feel this way about al laquita via the gift decision vs Jorge masvidal

Also Jon jones saying he won convincingly and ducked a rematch with gus after a fairly odd scorecard got him a decision

Plus if Gegard says he was dirty he is...gegard is as honest as it gets

so suck my throb

thats what I am talking about..

to make Gegard say anything negative you had to be out of line IMO
For sure, Gegard is respectful to those that deserve respect ...I remember being pumped for that fight and was amazed at how ripped Machida came into that fight.

Was still a great fight but Gegard told it like it was.
