The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has given the Minoru Suzuki vs. Butterbean match from WrestleCon’s “Mark Hitchcock Memorial SuperShow 2025” on Thursday, April 17th in Las Vegas NEGATIVE 4 1/2 ⭐.
Dave Meltzer called it the “worst match he’s ever seen”.
He also stated it was worse than the “Heroes of Wrestling” match featuring The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff vs. The Bushwhackers. Meltzer indicated that Suzuki was extremely upset backstage because he’d never had a match this bad before, but he attributed the most of the problems to Butterbean and not Suzuki.
