Top-ranked bantamweight Michael McDonald will make his Bellator debut this winter in the U.K., Bellator President Scott Coker today told MMAjunkie.

McDonald (17-4 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) is scheduled to appear against a to-be-determined opponent at a Dec. 15 Bellator event, which takes at Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, England.

The event’s main card airs on Spike, though it’s not yet clear whether it will air live or via tape-delay. The event also is still without a name/number.

Happy he is finally debuting. It is also news to me that there is another U.K. Event. Who will be on this card? Would have loved for it to be Daley vs MVP, but page is boxing. Who do they have for this event? Most of their British talent is booked. Vassell vs bader. Liam vs mo.

I guess they can give Daley a jobber as he waits for MVP.

I totally forgot he was on the roster.
Good to see him booked.

It's Bellator 190, an event that will be co promoted with Bamma. The last time they did this, the main card was like 2 or 3 Bellator fights (Liam McGeary headlined and the time before that King Mo vs Satoshi Ishii headlined. Gallagher was on both cards) and Bamma for the other 2.

He's a killer. Cursed career with the injuries, he looked like championship material when he first came on the scene. Still only 26 so it would be nice to see him put together a nice string of wins.

Damn! Just ordered my Lima vs MacDonald tickets today. When I first read the title I hoped he'd be on the LA Card.

Still great to see Mike back in a cage. Guy has some skills, just wonder about his training having so many injuries...... and he doesn't even train at AKA!!
