In 1974 I was 15. The albums “Bad Company” and “Second Helping” came out. I couldn’t tell you whether Bad Company or Lynyrd Skynyrd was my favorite band at the time. I loved them both. It was years later that came to know that Ronnie Van Zant’s admiration of Paul Rodgers with Free that influenced his style, so there was a connection there that I didn’t realize existed.

Both are really good. I also had them both that year. Gotta give Bad Company the edge there though.
