A crazed naked man was caught on video in a Chicago neighborhood as he rushed at police officers who zapped him with a Taser — against the advice of at least one eyewitness, who implored the cops to open fire.
“Oh my God, bro! Shoot his ass! Shoot that motherf–ker!” the cameraman shouts in the footage posted by LiveLeak. “This is a time when you shoot people!”
The video blurred his bleeding crotch area because of reports that he had chopped off his privates — though police could not immediately confirm any sort of mutilation to The Post.
Cops responded Monday to a disturbance call at Grace Street and Drake Avenue, where they found the bulky brute yelling incoherently.
The man suddenly bolts toward a female officer while screaming, “Get outta here, b—h!”
She orders him to stop and then fires her Taser, which sends him tumbling to the ground, the video shows.
“Officers attempted to calm the individual with negative results and were ultimately forced to deploy tasers and dry stun techniques to secure the man,” police told The Post in a statement.
He was taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital for a mental evaluation, police said.
Authorities described his injuries as “minor.”
The person who shot the footage said the man had been vandalizing parked cars and taunting witnesses near an elementary school.
A witness said the man had been rolling around on the street while still clothed.
“People were around him and he started cussing them out and pushing them,” Eriz Gonzalez said, the Sun reported. “They left, and he stripped … ass naked in the middle of the street.”
