What’s the opinions on Shedeur Sanders slipping? Lot of hype and high praise from the prognosticators.

2nd Louisville Cardinal to go. Gillotte is a beast. Was a 3 star out of high school, who just got better and better as he grew into his body.

Dillon Gabriel, Tyler Shough, and Jalen Milroe all gone before Shedeur. And Gabriel went to the Brownies, who some thought would take Shedeur in the first. That kid has got to be deflated.

These are business men. They are always going to do some sort of risk analysis.

My guess is a breakdown of the high risk points would be:

Decimated locker room
Injury
Taking sacks instead of throwing the ball away
Ignoring coaching

That's a lot of risk for a small fairly talented qb

Makes sense. ESPN already out with another puff piece on him with glowing quotes from Sean Payton, Jerry Jones, and others. It just so happens none of those in love with SS need a QB. How convenient.
I don’t have a locked-in opinion on SS. Deion is in my top 5 fave list. Love Deion. I want to think the jewelry and swagger is typical youthful showing off but underneath it is a grounded, committed man who will excel. I’m hopeful.
Some Dawgs got off the board yesterday. OLs Tate Ratledge and Dylan Fairchild. Fairchild grew up here in my community.

You’re also right about size. They keep listing him as 6’-2”. Looks to me like he might scratch 5’-11” in the right shoes.

My Bengals picked Fairchild. This team is desperately in need of an OL pick to pan out.
Solid player?

I think so. Truth is, I don’t watch the NFL and haven’t for over 25 years. Don’t like it. I will, however, occasionally check in on the stats for players I liked in college. I want them to be successful. Trevor, Travis, etc. But I can’t watch it. I’m fascinated by this SS story

I love that after all of this Sanders gets drafted by the browns lmao. He should tell them he wants to be traded.

Best response to Stephen A Smith’s ‘collusion’ accusation on X…
“It’s all a conspiracy to not draft talented players”.

At least with the browns, if primetime second guesses the coach and general manager's every decision, he'll just look like a regular browns fan.

UGA was second overall with 13 players drafted, including three in the first round

Ohio State was first with 14 players drafted.

The SEC and Big Ten dominated the first three rounds, combining for 66 of the 102 selections. The Big 12 (13) and ACC (11) together couldn’t match the Big Ten (29), let alone the SEC (37) in the premium rounds.

Maryland has the dubious distinction of sending more draft picks to the NFL (six) than football victories last fall (four).

I look forward to seeing how many first-round draft picks the Fightin' Texas Aggies have in 2026 from their 2022 recruiting class that was Number One in the nation. I am sure the number will be very impressive.

Let's talk about something that actually matters. A team that was going NOWHERE before NIL all the sudden pulls their head out of their ass. Anyone wonder why? :tearsofjoy:
