OIiver Anthony is the guy that got famous with his "Rich Men North of Richmond" song a few years ago.
Well, now that he's achieved stardom and a fuckload of money (which he was never looking for), his now ex did what women do...divorced him and asked for half his $$$.
Not sure what she did or didn't get. I heard she asked for 60/40 (she get the 60) of all past and FUTURE earnings. I've also heard that she was awarded 50/50.
Either way, Anthony in the last few days has since released "Scornful Woman" song...which is obviously aimed at her. And it's just as good as "Rich Men North of Richmond".
As one of the comments to the video says - " First he wrote the working man's anthem, now the divorced man's anthem!"
Crazy thing is he was on Rogan again and told the story of recording the song. Apparently everyone came to his house during a crazy snowstorm and they lost power. Went to Lowe's, bought a generator, and recorded the song, anyway.
