Firstly what’s up, haven’t been here in a long time. I see a lot has changed..?
I loved this site because you could come and float out your general (usually bs let’s be honest) opinions and have some good back and forth and often learn a lot from some real fans of the sport(s) who’ve literally been there and did that yeno.
Anyways, I’m here watching ONE’s last live event streamed on yt and it’s so fucking entertaining! To people who watch kickboxing and Muay Thai regularly are rolling their eyes, but as more typical MMA fan (I suppose), kickboxing was just a fun side piece. Not to say I didn’t admire it as much!! I just never fully dove in.
ONE is a well established, global success in the combat sports world and fight pass seems to be working to draw more eyes to it with their various leagues etc.
Why not collaborate and find some of the most talented fighters who fight under the UFC and would be up for the event and collaborate and work out some kind of event together?
It would be tough to figure out how it would be aired and rights and all that bullshit I don’t doubt. But as a fight fan wouldn’t you love to see some MMA fighters have the option to just strike!?
I dunno, makes sense to me.
