This fight is what? 5 months away? Still waiting to get cleared? Typically fighters get 2 months notice, if that. Pretty dumb statement by her considering she has 3 months to get that clearance for it to be a typical fight notice. Btw, are we waiting for her title doctor to give the clearance, or is this something medical?

Maybe she misunderstood the rumor. Maybe her fight date is a different one. Maybe she's waiting to be cleared before signing any contracts. Maybe she has no idea they're planning to offer her Ostovich. Idk.

The article doesn't say they offered her that fight, just that they're targeting that.
