BACKGROUND

There are some serious issues being tackled for all sports right now. Sports Integrity Global Alliance (Sport Integrity Global Alliance – The Sport Integrity Global Alliance is an independent and neutral coalition of more than 70 international multi-industry members.) is a new-ish organization. IMMAF (the group Marc Goddard is involved with), and its president Densign White, is involved with SIGA -- and I'm sure a big focus for them will be MMA in France and issues like that, as well as safety standards. But SIGA will eventually be important to the IOC, FIFA, and other organizations as well. I would be surprised if American MMA were affected by it straight away -- I'm sure it will be some time.

SIGA just elected Franco Frattini as their Chair for the next four years. He's a judge now, but he was a high-level politician for a long time.

BACKGROUND ON MY TWITTER ACCOUNT

I started a twitter account mainly because my sisters are always tweeting about stuff (a lot more personal stuff that I ever would, but I love them), so it's one way I keep up with what's going on in their lives. Of course, I started to follow people for news and such. I try to keep it quality over quantity, though. And there are a couple of internet friends I have made that I follow, but I don't run my account with the goal of gaining followers or promoting a business or anything like that. I have 67 followers right now. Not all of them are real people who read my tweets.

I have followed IMMAF for a long time now, which is how I learned about SIGA when it was first coming together. It's a really cool organization -- their forum videos are online, and what they're talking about and saying is awesome.

CURRENT ISSUE (TLDR)

Franco Frattini is a high level Italian judge and politician who was elected chair of the Sports Integrity Global Alliance, which recognizes MMA as a sport and IMMAF participates in. He has 56k followers on Twitter, and only follows 937 people -- I AM NOW ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE. Why? Idk. (There is something in the air, because a couple of days ago, Scott Ross followed me. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE FUNKY BUNCH. As in, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. ????????? Yes, a member of the Funky Bunch follows me. Why? IDK.)

So, I thought it would be really cool if we could reach out to Frattini for a Q&A or something. I think it would be awesome to do something huge, and invite people interested in other sports, or invite MMA media (not Jonathan Snowden obviously), to really introduce what's going on to MMA fans and everyone else.

HOWEVER, no one else seems super interested in this stuff, and it would be embarrassing to pursue someone like Frattini (which would be a major major thing if we land him) only to have no one participate, or only people asking "boxers or briefs" kinds of questions.

So, the question is, are my dreams too lofty? Abandon this line of thought?

I did not make this a poll, because I am hoping people will actually talk about it.

I believe there are Americans, like Cindy McCain, involved with them, so not just Europeans. And I think there are people from other regions as well.
